I couldn't agree more with what Mr. King says below. We were very pleased with your service however I never really trusted Mike Dickey. He dealt mostly with my wife. He would hardly say two words to me when I was home and he would come by, which I thought was very odd. He called several times after he claimed he "left" your company and started his own, only to find out later he was actually fired. (and for good reason if you ask me) We had to finally tell him to stop calling and harassing us. Thank you for sending out your technician to ensure the quality of your work had not been compromised. We still would highly recommend Greg King and Trapper Jack for wildlife problems.

Over the years Trapper Jack Wildlife Specialist has employed many different types of people. Like with any business, you occasionally run across a bad seed. We do our best to screen each applicant to ensure the integrity and quality of our service is maintained. We take the appropriate measures to also ensure our customers are protected. Customer service is our top priority and when we feel that philosophy is not being met, we quickly make the appropriate changes in our staff. As you read through our guestbook entries you will find that our choices in employees have helped maintain a solid reputation. However, even the best choices can turn into some of the worst choices. For whatever reason a person can decide they want more out of their career and in some cases will do the unthinkable to accomplish their goals. Unfortunately this has happened to us recently. Luckily, we were able to spot it before our companies' reputation was jeopardized. We have terminated a couple of people who's names show up quite frequently as you read through the entries. We continue to post the entries including their names because we feel it is not that particular person who makes this company successful, but rather the internal structure that makes the company a success. If you read about this technician or that, but don't see their name and profile on our staff page then chances are they could not live up to our standards. Trapper Jack Wildlife Specialist is the company and the customers who have offered feed back is a direct reflection of how this company operates.

Mr. Greg King, owner of Trapper Jack Wildlife Specialist did what no one else could even come close to doing. In a matter of a couple of days he and his crew removed what seemed like every bird in the state from our property. They followed up with some preventative measures that he assures me will keep not only the birds out, but also the rest of God's creatures. Good job guys! I think anyone with a wildlife problem, especially birds in our case, should give this guy a call. He's a total no nonsense person.

Mr. Greg King, My name is Ryan Heym and recently had a fox issue. The fox would come around during the day and would seem to be very bold. He also would make this loud cry/howl. After calling Trapper Jack and speaking to Sunny Rippetoe about the fox, we decided that it would be a good idea to trap the fox and have him tested. Sunny and I worked together to determine where to place the traps. Sunny was very knowledgeable on trapping all types of animals and was determined to catch this fox. He located a borrow that the fox might have been using and we set traps there and in two other locations where the fox had been seen. We did not catch the fox the first few nights, but did catch two house cats, 3 possums, one skunk, and one raccoon. Sunny came out every time we caught an animal and released them in a different location. We then constructed and borrow using a large trap and covering it with tarps, vegetation, etc to make it camouflage. Finally after switching the bate to some sausage, we caught the large red fox (see pictures). Sunny was determined to catch him and I will always use Trapper Jack services in the future for myself and recommend to others, for their wild animals problems. Thanks you again, Ryan Heym

RE: Greg King/Trapper Jack Wildlife Specialist
-We highly recommend Greg at Trapper Jack to anyone with wildlife concerns on their property. When I first began hearing sounds in my wall and attic I thought it was coming from the roof or perhaps a chipmunk had found a way inside. The sounds persisted each evening and became louder and more frequent. As I had heard that animals inside can chew through wires and cause much damage, I called a few companies listed in the telephone book, and decided that I liked Greg at Trapper Jack the best. I am a person who loves all living creatures and wanted someone who would respect my views to protect our building while removing the animal humanely.
Greg came out and did a very through inspection. At first the intruder was elusive, but he successfully was able to give us the bad news that we had numerous roof rats. They were in the crawl space, the attic and the trees. Greg patiently sat one evening listening for them and then spent several weeks until he thought he had caught them all. It is a plus that his business is within a local area because he can meet you quickly and as often as needed. Some of the others that I called were going to come from a distance which also meant that the traps wouldn't be checked as often. Just as his ad says, he sealed their entryways to ensure that no more rats could get in. He was also excellent at communicating with us his progress as he attended to trapping the intruders.

His website also tells you of a guarantee and I need to tell you that he is serious about that too. Unfortunately, we heard the same sounds again a few weeks later. When I called, Greg came out that day, found a new entry point that the rats had made and set up to continue catching the determined rats. Trapper Jack is an honest, hard working, knowledgeable man.
Let him help you with your wildlife and pest concerns.

RE: TRAPPER JACK

>Urban Wildlife - Called three times, they never returned our call
> Varmit Control - They came and set a trap and never returned or followed up.
We actually still have their traps (it's been over a month now)

With a smelly, dead animal in our house and a dinner party two days away, we called Trapper Jack.
He was quick, responsive and very knowledgeable. He came within a few hours and removed the one
smelly, dead rat that was in our crawlspace on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. His phone number
is 404-201-1815...www.trapperjack.com

Thank You!

UPDATE: The previous email was written in May of 2007. As of October of 2007, the trap set by
Varmit Control still sits in the back yard. Traps Set By Wildlife Management Companies Are To Be Checked
At Least Every 24 Hours.

Greg,
I'm sure to many folks, squirrels are just fury pest. But I had pet
squirrels when I was a kid, so I have some sense
of how clever (and affectionate) they can be. So when the Mama squirrel set up housekeeping in
my attic, I was sympathetic -- at first. But when she eluded another trapping company's set-up,
I became a bit desperate. She'd managed to find her way down into my laundry room,
which she clearly regarded as hers.

After setting traps on the roof at the entry as well as in the laundry room, in 2 days you had her trapped. As you were cleaning up after the trap, though, we heard scratching in the
walls -- unfortunately, she'd had her babies, and they were still there.

I was so tickled when you called and said you'd managed to rescue them, and the
picture of the little one on your head made me feel so much better.

I was impressed by your professionalism, and your gentle manner. You really went above and beyond to ensure that the squirrels were not just caught, but humanly treated and relocated, I can't thank you enough for making me *and* the squirrels happy!

I just wanted to say Trapper Jack Wildlife Specialist is the REAL DEAL. These guys answered all my calls, were very patient and knowledgable with alllll my questions and concers. They set appointments and show up on time...none of this between 8am and 5pm mess. They follow up when they say they will. I felt a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders after our intial visit even though we still had raccoons in the attic. I was completely confident they would take care of the problem and they did! No more raccoons and no more sleepless nights. Excellent job on the repairs too. Our home is back to normal. It's as if this never happened. :)
Thank you very much!
